Rewriting Herstory

I feel like I've been neglecting my lj for some time. I have my reasons. It's because I was writing my dystopia fic, A Moment of Weakness, and when I was done, so was my brain. Even comments to fill you guys in on my life were beyond me.


( It's a freaking gorgeous day today. )

I haven't posted anything here since last year. Wow... I was on such a roll too with posting at least once a week. Or, at least I tried too. I hope I can get back to that.

I hope you all have had a pretty good year so far! It's been snowing in my location. Not enough to stick, but it's nice to watch the snow fall. I just hope it's okay to drive through tomorrow. We'll see.

that I have yet to sign up for. And I think I'm only halfway done. I just keep whumping the crap out of Cas. I realized that if I did as much research for my senior project as I’m doing for this fic, I’d be on my way to being a freaking doctor. Well, not really, but you know what I’m trying to say.

I think I have to officially sign-up for dc_dystopia. I just want to post my Everylasting Birthday challenge story on Sunday so I can focus on this story. Hopefully without any distractions.

So, I'm from Hawaii. I left Hawaii to go to school in Oregon and I decided to stay in Oregon even after I finished with my first major. And now that the weather in Oregon is cooling, I'm missing the beach (and my skin color) a lot more than I should. Sighs... I can't believe I didn't go home for the summer.

But I know that he’ll laugh, take me seriously, and probably go away for a couple of months. And that is how I ended up in a dysfunctional relationship with my muse.
 
Here’s to the possibility (likelihood) of me taking up another challenge. dc_dystopia is on my plate. I have a story planned out. I’ve wanted to write it for about a year, but it’s always just been on the backburner. And now I have a reason to finish it.

So, the goal is to finish my first draft to my deancas_xmas story probably by tonight, read over one of the Everlasting birthday challenge stories I’ve signed up for, contemplate signing up for one more prompt from there, and making a detailed outline of my dystopia story.

I better finish all of this before I get saddled with school work...

Random note:

Is anyone having problems with LJ editing? I wanted to edit one of my past entries, but I couldn’t do it without erasing the entire thing.

Am I just that LJ unsavvy or are other people having this problem to? Is there anyway to fix it( ? )

So, I realized that I haven't posted anything that wasn't a story since the middle of March where I disappeared. It was because I was too busy working on my dc_everafter  story and moving back up to Oregon. But that story really drained me and I'm not writing anything long for awhile. Which is pretty much why I'm skipping round 2 of dc_everafter  and deancasbigbang . But I will be reading everyone's stories.

Life is of pretty good. I'm chilling at home, being ridiculously bored and boring. Taking a break from school before I finish my first degree: Most awesome decision ever. Having to find a job now: Blah... 

A few days ago, it was so sunny in Oregon. It was so weird. But me and my roommate got to use the hot tub! It was awesome. I learned why we aren't supposed to drink alcohol when you use a hot tub. I fell in when I was drying off. But I got an awesome tan, so I can't really complain. 

( I guess I want to make a few observations about 6x18 )

Here are my songs that have been on repeat for a few days. 

I don't really like Nicki Minaj, and this is my favorite song from Britney Spears now. It used to be Toxic. And I love the dubstep! 



But yeah, to sum it up... I'm still here. I'm still alive. And I'll be posting a few stories eventually( ! )

I think by now, a lot of people have heard about the earthquake in Japan.

There is a tsunami warning everywhere that touches the Pacific.

I have a lot of family in Hawaii and the Philippines.

I hope they're all all right.

I don't think that I'm sleeping tonight. I wish that I was home right now... 

EDIT: 10:40 Hawaii time... And now there's a tsunami warning for Oregon? Oh my goodness.
