Allergy free today. Yay!!!
Aug. 16th, 2010 10:25 amI had the worst allergy attack of my life yesterday. My nose was running, I was sneezing, my eyes were itchy. I took a Claratin early in the morning and it didn't help. And it was pretty bad because my family came over and I was holding my niece. Holding a baby and trying not to sneeze on her head was one of the hardest things to do. But I managed.
So... I did it. I dropped out of
deancasbigbang . But the reason why is because my muse shot back over to my first big bang story that I started. Go figure, right? But now I get to post them on my own time instead of trying to rush and end up not happy with it. But I am happy to start reading all the stories that are going to be posted.
But, I did sign up for Secret Angels IV at
deancastiel . I do enjoy writing for other people more than I like writing for myself.
Speaking of Secret Angels, my sequel to my fic from the last one goes up tomorrow. YAY!
So, maintenance on the stories that my muse has bombarded me with.
1) My first big bang story which is a Supernatural AU where Castiel and his twin brother Jameriel live with the Singers until they are able to go back up to Heaven.
2) My second big bang story which was pretty much a vampire fic where Dean and Sam are just using Castiel as a food source.
3) A sequel to How You Change Me. Because apparently pillow talk is in order.
4) A prequel to Shut Up and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is. Because it's a set up for lot more stories for this verse.
5) A Dean/Castiel High School AU.
6-10) A bunch of other original stories. I don't know the exact number.
Now some personal business.
Oh, so you know in my last post how I said I haven't been to the beach since I've come back from my vacation? Well, I get to go tomorrow! Exciting. But it's sad monkeys because I have to go back up for school on Wednesday.
But I am excited because me and my roommate are painting one of the walls in our living room into a chalkboard. YAY! Now all I have to do is move in to my apartment. I guess the drama with it is that I don't know how to tell one of my good friends that I'm not living with her. A whole lot of miscommunication and a bunch of my friends thought that I was living with them.
I GOT A NEW CELL PHONE. I'm praying that this one lasts longer than four days. Doing pretty well so far. I bought a protective case, and a lanyard. This phone is going to last forever. I think that the other one didn't last because I didn't name it. This new phone has a name.
So, I just realized that I watch way too much TV. And a lot of it is Nickelodeon and Disney. As a 22 year old, is that bad? I mean, I'd rather watch that than Jersey Shore, or some crap like that. But I do watch soap operas. Because... I don't really know why.
Okay, this post needs to end because I've spent way too much time writing it.
This is the randomness that is DauntPerplexity.

Date: 2010-08-16 10:47 pm (UTC)I can't wait to read the prequel to Shut Up and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is. I still read and giggle and swoon over it.
I watch Disney and Nick. I love iCarly. There is nothing wrong with it.
Have fun at the beach.

Date: 2010-08-16 11:04 pm (UTC)Oh, I've gotten through the dialogue of the prequel and I'm having a really fun time writing it.
Phew... as long as I wasn't the only one who watched those shows. iCarly and Big Time Rush are my shows.
THANKS!!! I need to get a tan before I bleach out.

Date: 2010-08-16 11:05 pm (UTC)I, too, watch a hilarious amount of Disney shows. NGL, I genuinely enjoyed Suite Life of Zach and Cody and Hannah Montana... back when Miley Cyrus was still fairly innocent :')
Despite so many people telling me that Jersey Shore is shit, I have yet to see an episode! I foresee lots of hilarity.

Date: 2010-08-16 11:26 pm (UTC)Totally agree with the Hannah Montana comment. But I'm more into Wizards of Waverly Place, Phineas and Ferb, and Sonny with a Chance.
I've seen one part of an episode where a girl got punched in the face. I'm pretty sure I got the gist of that episode with that...

Date: 2010-08-17 12:01 am (UTC)I thought I'd hate Sonny with a Chance when it first started airing but after watching the first few episodes, I realized how magical it really was XD

Date: 2010-08-17 12:08 am (UTC)Sonny with a Chance is so funny to me. I mostly watch it for Sterling Knight (Chad Dylan Cooper). He makes me laugh pretty hard.

Date: 2010-08-16 11:39 pm (UTC)Heh, I watch a lot of Nick and The Disney channel too. What can I say, they grew on me <3

Date: 2010-08-17 12:06 am (UTC)Right? I mean, the shows cannot compare to the shows of the 90s, but I can settle for these shows during the day instead of watching 'reality TV'.

Date: 2010-08-17 12:15 am (UTC)I actually like a lot of children's shows more than shows meant for my age group :P Someone else mentioned Suite Life of Zach and Cody <3. I like Wizards of Waverly Place and iCarly too. Reality shows for the most part are realy uninteresting to me. Except Wife Swap, but that's more of an addiction than an actual -like-.

Date: 2010-08-17 12:34 am (UTC)Yeah. I'm 22 years old and most of the things I watch on TV during the day are Nick and Disney. At night though, it's USA. That being said... I watch too much TV. *sigh*

Date: 2010-08-17 12:51 am (UTC)My ratio of finished stories to unfinished stories is like 30:150... I fail at finishing.
I know. I need to cut back on the TV watching.

Date: 2010-08-17 01:04 am (UTC)Me too. It's a little depressing to go through it sometimes, when you remember how cool the documents were when you started, but you never finished them :(

Date: 2010-08-17 03:49 am (UTC)I know. It's the worst feeling in the world. I read through the story and I always think that someday I'm going to finish it because the idea of it was amazing. But I never do... :( One day, I'll finish a few of those stories. One day...

Date: 2010-08-17 01:26 am (UTC)2)I like soap operas but I can't watch them daily they take too long for me and the drama is just draining.
and...Jersey Shore is partially hilarious but mostly unbelievably embarrassing

Date: 2010-08-17 03:54 am (UTC)Yeah. When it comes to soaps, I usually just watch a few of the storylines.
I can never watch those reality TV shows on MTV. Except like the Gauntlet and all those challenge shows. Maybe I feel like my life has way too much drama in it that I can't stand watching other people's.
