A lot of questions came up for me after I posted my reactions to last night's episode.

I figured that I need to sort them out because I have a senior project to do and if these thoughts are floating around in my dome then nothing's going to get done.

Same reason why I have a word document open to write down all of the stories popping into my head so I can write them on Wednesday... I think the total is up to 5 right now?

I'm trying sooooooooooooo hard to stay way from spoilers. But it's difficult when [livejournal.com profile] ontd_spnparty  posts spoilers up with mesmerizing gifs that I just can't not click...

I could possibly be the worst idea ever joining that community.

OR NOT!!!

It's so much fun...

:D

1) So, Lucifer defeated all the other gods pretty easily because not many people believe in Odin or Baldur anymore, right? The whole, sacrifices and tributes need to be made for them go get their power or something. I still don't get it.

So, like if everyone who believed in Lucifer got a memo and just changed what they believed about him... could he possibly cease to exist?

Quote from Hell House:

Sam: Kind of makes you wonder—of all the things we’ve hunted, how many existed just ‘cause people believed in ‘em?

But maybe that is because it was a tulpa (or whatever). But like the writers would ever revisit that...

*knocks on tv screen* Hello, writers? I still want to know why Dean's eyes were bleeding?

2) Is Gabriel actually dead?

Yeah, yeah. You can rail on me all you want about being in denial, but hear me out.

There has to be a reason why Kali said what she said to Gabriel.

Kali: You're bound to me. Now and forever.

She obviously let go of Sam and Dean's blood, but did she let go of Gabriel?

And why was she the only god who lived? Lucifer could've easily just gone after her...

BECAUSE SHE'S GOING TO BRING HIM BACK!

At least I hope.

3) Season 6 = Castiel goes evil. That's if there is a place for him in the season (ie. if he survives because the writers love torturing him as much as they love torturing us). And don't spoil me, please if you've heard anything about it.

Okay, so maybe that is more of a really big theory.

Well... I'm just thinking back to Abandon All Hope when Lucifer had Castiel trapped and they had their talk about being public enemy #1 and #2. And how Castiel serving Lucifer's interests would be best for him.

Also, if Castiel does come back (I'm not sure if he's going to completely recover from the Holy Cross of Light), how broken would he be?

If Castiel was somehow trapped in a room with Lucifer and Michael, how would it go down?

Would Lucifer try to kill Castiel for choosing humanity over his brothers and Michael would try to protect him?
Would Michael try to kill Castiel and Lucifer try to protect him?
Castiel kills both of them?
They both kill Cas?
They try to convince him to join their side. (Which he wouldn't because Team Free Will wins. And because of Dean.)

So many different scenarios.

I guess I'm just comparing the reactions that Michael and Lucifer had to killing their siblings.

When Michael killed Anna, he just looked at her and was like... meh. Business as usual. No emotion.
When Lucifer killed Gabriel (by the way, I still don't know if Gabriel is the younger brother), he looked... sad. Regretful. Like he was going to cry.

If Lucifer is seen as more sympathetic, why wouldn't Castiel be drawn to him?

Right?

...

Or Castiel could go evil to save Dean and Sam and season 6 is the brothers going into Hell to try and save him.

*shrugs shoulders*

Who knows?

This is the randomness that is DauntPerplexity...

I think this probably had something to do with Gabriel and Lucifer both being Archangels. Anna, Castiel, Uriel, etc. are lower-level angels, Like, I think I'd put them as like... the angel equivalent of Meg or Ruby-- higher than your average, but still lower then Azazel, Alistair, Lillith, etc, who are the demon equiv of archangels. Gabriel takes an interest in Castiel, yes, but I don't think they're on the same level.

So I think Lucifer and Gabriel were probably closer than Anna and Michael; I sort of see Anna and Michael as distant cousins or something, whereas Lucifer and Gabriel (and Michael and Raphael) were more like brothers, and therefore he would have a more emotional response to killing him.

Aw man. See, I was wondering why it was so different their reactions. Like are we supposed to feel sympathetic toward Lucifer because of it?

Brothers > Distant cousins... THAT MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE!!!

I want dark!Cas next season so bad, but I am trying to be cautious when it comes next season and Cas' role in it, that is, if he even has one.

I swear though, if they pull a "he was evil the whole time!" like Ruby, I will find Kripke and gut him.

I will be right there along with you. It wouldn't make sense for that to happen in my book!

That being said, I would LOVE to see Cas go evil and if he did, the reasoning why. I think that Misha would do an AMAZING job with it! I'm getting antsy just thinking about it...

Kali was a fierce bitch, SHE BETTER BRING GABRIEL BACK. I'm sick of everyone dying!

Evil Castiel: It's a good theory, and for some reason it almost seems likely - Castiel being a fan favourite, they'd be able to have him hang around and he'd have a purpose instead of "well he's just there, in the backseat, looking good". I just don't want him to go dark side, and yes I am lame like that. :D I PREFER BACKSEAT PRETTY, OK

I KNOW! ME TOO. See, I hate that I get so excited to see certain people in previews or when their name pops up in the credits, but then they end up dying. Do I have to expect that now for the rest of the season? Guest starring [insert amazing guest start here]. End of episode [dead].

I PREFER BACKSEAT PRETTY, OK

Haha... That's totally okay. I would love that too, just as long as Cas is somehow in Season 6 and has something important to do. But I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Misha play bad...
