So, I'm from Hawaii. I left Hawaii to go to school in Oregon and I decided to stay in Oregon even after I finished with my first major. And now that the weather in Oregon is cooling, I'm missing the beach (and my skin color) a lot more than I should. Sighs... I can't believe I didn't go home for the summer.

This is going to be a really random post. I just want everyone to know how much I LOVE my mom. We didn't get along as much during high school, but I feel like that's how most relationships with daughters and mothers are. But now, I call her about everything. Like this morning, I called her while she was at work so I could rant to her about how my roommate smoked out our apartment. I needed to talk to her because I was angry and I didn't have anyone to talk to. I love her so much!!!

So now, my house smells like burnt lamb because my roommate put lamb in the oven without putting it on a tray first. *Shake my head* Yeah, I need to calm down.

So, I've started writing my story for dc_dystopia, but I haven't actually signed up for the challenge yet. I guess I want to get to a certain point before I sign up. Just so I know that I'll be able to finish. It's going pretty well. I have most of the research done. Have places for all the characters I want to include. I just feel like it's going to turn out into this massive thing and I won't be able to finish it in time. I guess that's why I'm holding off signing up as long as possible.

But I have finished my first draft of my deancas_xmas story. So now it just has to sit for a week so I can read over it again. And I have to go over my Everlasting Birthday Challenge story again. I feel like I'm constantly writing, but I'm not complaining at all. :)

I also got three books from Amazon today! I'm excited. Yay reading! 

I think I'm going to make fruity pebble-rice krispie treats now.

I didn't know you were from Hawaii! That's pretty awesome :D. It's cool that you get along with your mom now my high school years mom relationships was pretty poor too.

Also yay~ so many stories! 8') I can't wait to read them all :3

Yup! Born and raised. And then left? Yeah, somehow it doesn't make a lot of sense. But I definitely appreciate home a lot more.

I love that me and my mom are okay now. We used to fight about the most ridiculous things when I was in high school. Now, it just seems so foolish...
