In which I have written 40,000 words for a challenge…
that I have yet to sign up for. And I think I'm only halfway done. I just keep whumping the crap out of Cas. I realized that if I did as much research for my senior project as I’m doing for this fic, I’d be on my way to being a freaking doctor. Well, not really, but you know what I’m trying to say.
I think I have to officially sign-up for
dc_dystopia. I just want to post my Everylasting Birthday challenge story on Sunday so I can focus on this story. Hopefully without any distractions.
So, real life tidbits.
I’ve started watching Legend of the Seeker. A bunch of shows are on Netflix, so I’ve been glued to my couch with my laptop glued to my lap. I feel like if they ever did a genderswitch for Castiel, Bridget Regan would be perfect. It’s a little creepy.
Here is my list of shows to watch after I’m done with Legend of the Seeker
Sherlock Holmes
Merlin
Dollhouse
Doctor Who
There are probably more, but I can’t remember.
I’m just counting down the days until my little (don’t know if that’s accurate because I’m pretty sure he’s like 5 inches taller than me now) brother comes up to visit me. He’s spending Christmas with me in Oregon. But apparently it’s supposed to be a really cold winter. I hope he survives. :)
Next order of real life. I never thought that me and my mom would ever like the same show. I mean, I like CSI: NY, she likes CSI: Miami. We both like General Hospital, but that doesn’t count. She thinks I’m ridiculous for liking Supernatural to the extent I do.
So, it’s weird that we both like Hawaii 5-0. Like, we actually talk about the episodes with each other. The day after the episode where Steve is in Korea, the first thing my mom asked me when I called her was if I liked it. How weird/cool is that?
We even have arguments about the show, which just boggles my mind.
Also, I think I'm addicted to caffeine. Only because every time I'm within 20 feet of a Starbucks I have to get something. Even if I know it's going to keep me up until 4 in the morning. It's really bad.
But enough about that. Last real life tidbit.
I am having a really hard time dealing with my roommate (or I guess I should say apartment mate?). I think it’s one of those things where you just get irritated after spending too much time together. Like everything he does to me drives me up the wall. And he is so inconsiderate sometimes. It’s a little unbelievable.
But usually the irritation fades. I hope this is the case. But I’m pretty sure it’ll take a long time for this irritation to fade. Especially since I don’t really like his girlfriend.
Gosh, I sound so catty/bratty. It must be that time of the month or something.
Well, I need to get back to watching my shows and writing.
